"The
results proved that the Tailgunner technology, in which the spinning
motion of the turbine tips creates a siphon which draws exhaust out and thereby increases flow, did indeed improve the Road King's power
output... A couple of horses and a few more pounds of torque are always
welcome, especially considering the amount of time these tips took to
install. So if your looking for a weekend project that not only
delivers a bit more power but also gives your ride a lot more eyeball,
Tailgunner GUNSHIP pipes are exactly the kind of project for you."

DYNO TESTED AND PERFORMANCE PROVEN

The above Dyno graph readings illustrate increased performance
results on a stock 2006 Harley Davidson Road King. The results represent the addition of Tailgunner Exhaust GUNSHIPS, B-52
JET-PIPES and DEDICATED TRUE DUAL HEADERS only. No additional tuning
or air / fuel mixture components were used.
Stock 2006 Harley Davidson Road King: (red graph line)
81.45 Max horse-power / 88.91 Max torque
Gains with B-52 JET-PIPES: (blue graph line)
4.21 horse-power gain / 5.84 Max torque gain
Gains with GUNSHIPS: (green graph line)
4.4 horse-power gain / 5.71 Max torque gain
Gains with DEDICATED TRUE DUAL HEADERS: (purple graph line)
1.28 horse-power gain / 2.47 Max torque gain
Increased Performance with
Proprietary Variable Back Pressure™
The Competition:
Until
now, straight pipes have allowed for an overall decrease in exhaust
back pressure. This has provided better top end performance and a big
bike sound. But often at the cost of poor low and mid range
effectiveness and an earsplitting crack. The Tailgunner™ Solution:
Tailgunner®
Rotary Cannons use turbine induced variable back-pressure. When
the turbines are spinning slowly they produce a small amount of
back-pressure. When the turbines spin fast they act as a siphon,
drawing the exhaust out and creating a very free flowing system. By
demanding a small amount of back-pressure at low rpm’s and minimal
back-pressure at high rpm's, you get an overall increase in performance
through the full power range. You also get a deep and throaty
sound. All the bark without the bite. No
more sacrificing low and mid range performance for high-end speed and
great sound.
